No I wouldn't agree with this at all. Marriage is a sign of lifteime commitment, not a sticky plaster for sin.
It is a sin to sleep with someone outside marriage and it is a sin if you keep sleeping with this person as a single person. But this isn't an excuse to marry them. Deal with any sin in Repentance rather than marriage as this would probably only cover feelings of guilt!
It is not a sin to remain single if you are no longer sleeping with the person.
I know many people who have never married but have had a physical relationship in the past.
Many of them are now long term single and have never married,
and in spite of the teaching they have received,
many of them are not "burning" and it almost helped them "get it out of their system"!
