I believe God called us to be a light to the world...not hidden but on a hill...Being single isn't always easy,
but He says His grace is sufficient.I'm really not sure God's will was for singles to be grouped together separately from the world. As an unbeliever I did go on many dates,
had a number of relationships..I honestly don't believe now in having boyfriends...I believe in seeking first the kingdom...while you're at it,
know your calling..and maybe understand if you're a girl in what way you are to be a helper to your future husband...if you're a boy,
know to recognize the appropriate helper for you..
Marriage isn't all about the wedding day and the honeymoon...it's about serving the Lord together..sharing God's vision for your lives,
bearing each others burdens.
If I got married at 28 to the guy I was dating,
I would either have had a hard time convincing him to share what God is showing me now,
or I would just let go of God's plan for my life..I broke up with him because we had clear spiritual differences...My prayer for you is that you find the will of God for your life and don't dispair...our life on earth is maybe 80-90yrs,
nothing compared to eternity...
Shalom and blessings,
Anka
