How to destroy lustful thoughts

Anyone else here struggle with lustful thoughts? If so, how do you get rid of them, once and for all? I want to live my life fully for God, but these kinds of thoughts always get in the way; one day I'm completely in control of my thoughts, then they come back again. I slip and slide so much in my Christian walk that sometimes I wonder if I'll ever gain absolute control of my thoughts. Please, I need help. Any advice would be great.
